Art Challenge: Salmon Run

Every month (or so), ~assimilated and I will be doing an art challenge. This month's (June) topic was "salmon run". She got started really early, so I thought I would too. I also got finished really early lol... I may submit something else later, but for now this is it.

I had to look up what salmon looked like. Then I had to dust off and install my Wacom tablet (been so long since I used that), and then I had to find a different painting program since the one I had installed didn't do layers unless you bought the paid version. Screw that. I did a search for open source painting programs, and came across MyPaint. It's very basic, but it does exactly what I need and no more. Perfect.

So the sketch was done in Art Rage Starter Edition, then migrated to MyPaint to do the colouring.
